Chinju Chronicles – Being Cooler Than Acha 😁

Every morning, I think I'm taking Vismaya to daycare.

Every morning, Chinju reminds me that I'm actually accompanying a celebrity to her public appearance.

Today's look? A bright yellow outfit, red sunglasses, a cap worn backwards, and enough attitude to headline her own fashion week.

As we walked towards daycare, Chinju suddenly stopped and announced that a photo was required. Not requested. Required. She stood there with her hands behind her back, chin up, sunglasses on, giving off the confidence of someone who has already paid her taxes and owns three companies.

The funny part is that she's only recently moved to the Senior Toddler Class, but she's carrying herself like the Principal conducting surprise inspections.

One thing I've learned from these morning walks is that toddlers don't simply wear clothes—they become characters.

Some days she's a princess. Some days she's a daycare protester. Some days she's a fashion influencer.

Today?

Today she was a rockstar.

The best part wasn't the outfit or the pose. It was the happiness behind it. That carefree smile, the excitement of another day with friends, and the confidence that only a child can have—completely unfiltered and wonderfully genuine.

Years from now, I probably won't remember what work meetings I had today. But I'll definitely remember this little girl standing proudly on the sidewalk, rocking her sunglasses and backward cap like she was ready for a world tour.

And honestly, machi, if confidence had a face, it would probably look a lot like Chinju on a daycare morning.

Senior Toddler by class.
