Chinju Chronicles – Promotion Day to Senior Toddlers 🎒👑
Another morning. Another daycare drop.
But this one felt a little different.
As of June 4th, our little Vismaya, lovingly known as Chinju, officially graduated to the Senior Toddler Class. A tiny milestone in the grand scheme of life, but a huge one for a little girl who seems to be growing faster than we can keep up with.
Dressed in her beautiful pink frock, rocking those stylish sunglasses like a celebrity avoiding the paparazzi, Chinju stood proudly beside her little backpack, ready to conquer another day. Well... "ready" might be a generous word. As parents, we've learned that confidence, excitement, negotiation, and mild resistance can all exist in the same toddler at the same time!
The daily walk to daycare has become its own little ritual. Some days she's cheerful, some days she's thoughtful, and some days she acts like we're sending her on a six-month overseas assignment instead of a few hours of daycare.
But once she gets there, she's off — making friends, exploring, learning, and filling her day with stories we'll only hear fragments of later.
Looking at her now, it's hard to believe this confident little girl is the same baby who once needed to be carried everywhere. Today she walks in with her own bag, her own style, and a personality that can light up an entire room.
And let's be honest — with those sunglasses and that pose, she looks less like a Senior Toddler and more like the CEO of the Senior Toddler Department.
Here's to new classrooms, new adventures, and another chapter in Chinju's growing-up journey.
One more ordinary morning.
